DigiArt - Huber & Pirringer GesnbR

DigiArt (Huber & Pirringer) - so nennt sich ein ambitioniertes Team zweier junger Künstler, deren Ziel es ist, durch die Kombination von auditiven und visuellen Aspekten, neue Ausdrucksformen in der Kunst zu erforschen und zu entwickeln. Hierbei kommt spezielle Computer-Software zum Einsatz, die Musik in Bilder umwandelt und umgekehrt auch Graphiken musikalisch umsetzt.

DigiArt (Huber & Pirringer) - that the name of an ambitious team which consists of young artists whose target it is to explore and develop new ways of expression in art by combining auditive and visual aspects. Using special computer software, music is visualized and images are "plotted musically".

Wir sind jung, engagiert und dynamisch. Wir versuchen unser Musik- und Kunstverständnis auf ideale Weise mit dem Computer zu verbinden und sind überzeugt, unsere Visionen realisieren zu können.

We are young, ambitious and dynamic. We are trying to combine our knowledge in music and arts with the possibilities of computers in an ideal way, and we and are convinced to be able to make our visions become reality.

LEONHARD HUBER
ist 20 Jahre, wohnhaft in Wr. Neustadt, Niederösterreich. Maturierte 1998, ist zur Zeit Student an der FH für Informationsberufe in Eisenstadt (Spezialisierung im Bereich betrieblichen Informationsmanagement - "Webbased Business"). Hat eine zehnjährige musikalische Ausbildung am Klavier genossen und besitzt ein eigenes Homerecording-Studio. EDV-Kenntnisse: Programmiert seit 1990, Preisträger bei 4 Computerwettbewerben, zuletzt beim Prix Ars Electronica '98 in Linz, Praktikum am FutureLab, AEC, 1999.

aged 20, living in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria. Graduated in 1998, he is currently a student at the FHS Informationsberufe (Information Professional Studies) in Eisenstadt (specialisation in the area of information management - "webbased business"). Musical experience: 10 years of playing the piano, owns a home-recording studio. Computer Sciences: Has been programming since 1990, winner at four computer competitions, at the Prix Ars Electronica '98 in Linz, work placement at the FutureLab, AEC, 1999.

ANDREAS PIRRINGER
ist 32 Jahre, wohnhaft in Bad Fischau-Brunn, Niederösterreich. Maturierte 1986, absolvierte die Lehramtsprüfung für Hauptschulen in Musik und Englisch 1989. Erhielt das Jazz-Saxophon-Diplom am Konservatorium in Wien 1993. Erwerb fundierter Musik- und Englischkenntnisse durch 3,5 Jahre Aufenthalt in den USA
Lehrtätigkeit an der Susquehana University, Pennsylvania, 1993-94.
Master of Fine Arts in Music, University of California, Irvine, 1996.
Studium am California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles 1998.

aged 32, living in Bad Fischau-Brunn, Lower Austria. Graduated in 1986, passed the exam for teaching music and English at high schools in 1989. Received the jazz saxophone diploma at the Viennese conservatory in 1993. Acquired professional knowledge in music and English through spending a total of 3,5 years in the U.S.

Received Master's degree of Fine Arts in Music at University of California, Irvine in 1996.
Has done studies at the California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles in 1998.
